💥 Sprint Chaos & Tactical Perfection
The final 10km into Poitiers saw the peloton ramp up the pace with Blanka Vas and Anna van der Breggen pulling hard for SD Worx, setting the perfect platform for Wiebes. Lotte Kopecky gave it her all, leading out with 1.7km to go, before fading just shy of the finale — exhausted, but critical in the setup.
Vos locked onto Wiebes’ wheel, but it wasn’t enough. In the final 200m, Wiebes launched and unleashed a blistering sprint, sealing her 109th career win.
🇧🇷 History for Brazil on the Côte de Marigny
Earlier in the day, it was Ana Vitória Magalhães who brought fireworks on the only categorized climb of the day — the Côte de Marigny (Cat. 4). She became the first Brazilian rider (male or female) to lead over a Tour de France climb. An unforgettable moment in a tightly contested stage.
🩹 Crashes, Courage, and Combative Spirit
It wasn’t smooth sailing for all. Kristen Faulkner (EF Education-Oatly), Olympic champion and fan favorite, hit the tarmac again — her third crash in this year’s Tour. Meanwhile, Franziska Koch (Picnic PostNL) earned her second Most Combative Rider title, staying in the breakaway until the final 5km alongside Magalhães.
